What would you give to make Monday not a Monday?

It can be hard to go back to work on a Monday, especially for those who have worked in the same office for quite a few years. But on the other hand, we still need to go back whether we feel like it. Why? Because we’ve got to continue earning that moola, no matter how cool or weekend is.

What to do if going to work on this particular Monday feels like a terrible idea? And you are thinking of making an excuse for not coming in.

Here are a couple of things you can do to spice up your Mondays:

New Routine

Remember the day you were going to start with the company and you did not know what it was going to be like, but you were looking forward to your first day? Well implementing a new routine on a new week can give you all sorts of weird and wonderful emotions, in a good way.

You will find yourself looking forward to going to work for no apparent reason. You could do things like:

Plan something with a colleague

One other thing you could possibly do is plan to have lunch with a colleague or friend during your lunch hour. That is one brilliant idea that will subconsciously get you out of bed flying on a Monday morning.

Use a new week to improve your performance

We all know performance is a big part of being at work when it comes to earning as much as you would like. Money talks at the end of the day, and reluctantly dragging yourself to the office on a Monday is not helping your chances of earning that desired rate.

So what better way to turn that around than having a little Monday resolution that is performance related?

If we are being honest, Mondays can be a difficult day to be at work. But there is quite a number of things that can be done to creatively turn Mondays into the most magical day of the week. After all, the first day of the week should be the magical one. It’s a start after all.
