I was in an auto accident in march of this year, I was uninsured I know it was stupid you don’t have to tell me. I ended up totaling my car and two others, another cars bumper was damaged, I was found at fault. One of the other drivers try to get money from me, I told her I had no secret bank account or anything, I haven’t heard from her since, the driver of the other totaled car has sent letters claiming I owe her thirteen thousand dollars, and I received a letter from her husband who wasn’t even there, and was not involved in the crash in any way sent me a letter claiming I also owe him ten thousand dollars, the driver of this vehicle didn’t have insurance either. Then I received a letter from state farm insurance, for the lady that bumper got messed up, they claimed they paid six thousand eight hundred dollars to fix and want me to pay seven thousand eight hundred dollars, which is complete crap that lady drove away. so my question is if I file bankruptcy will this help me with this debt because I am only 19 and I owe all this money I cannot pay.””

Student Consolidation Loans: Good or Bad idea?
Recently the reality stick has hit me hard: with the current set up i have, i’d owe about 400$ a month in student loans (both federal and private). That sucks pretty much. But this is also because i’m not exactly full time in my career-type job. I’m lucky in that i get to go back to school and happy deferment land, but it gets me thinking that a consolidation would be kinda awesome. They warn that it’ll fix the rate at the average, and if i’m not paying so much against principle i’ll be paying back longer, but if have the one interest rate, and pay back as if they were split (say i’d only owe 65$/mo consolidated, but around 200$/mo for just the federal) Wouldn’t i be applying more to principle, but without the same monthly requirement? I’m currently looking for an auto loan. (Credit Score: 690) I have my current credit union which I’ve been a member for 8 years and paid back a $3,000 loan on time with no default. I’m also a member with a credit union that’s affiliated with my job. Would it be more beneficial to try my credit union with history or the one affiliated with my job? They both have great rates. It’s been said that credit unions involved with jobs normally grant loans since they have a good relationship with your employer however 8 + years with my other credit union seems like the best decision.
