Getting Electrified by Electric Blue

A color that gets my attention

Are there any particular colors that grasp your attention and draw you in? Maybe its more than a few. One color that really grasps my attention is electric blue.

Electric blue is more of a lighter shade of blue with similarities to aqua, turquoise, and cyan. However, electric blue is a more brighter color and has this energy about it.

The color electric blue debuted officially as a color in 1845.

Just the name alone grasps my attention. The electric in it reminds me of vivid energy and excitement. It also seems to be a great background color choice especially for advertisements. Electric blue also pairs well with other colors such as white, silver, and hot pink.

There are numerous objects that I’d love to have as an electric blue color. A lava lamp with electric blue “lava” would be a great addition to my room. I do have a lava lamp but its colors are hot pink and orange.

I also wouldn’t mind having some electric blue LED strip lights of which I could put around my bedroom TV. It would give my room a new and “electrifying” look.
