On Open-sourcing our Design Framework

It comes with great admiration of the past that we look to remove the gated confines our our future processing — to transparently declare our movement forthward — to share the inner workings of our workflow.

Just as teams see value in creating a shared design system to clarify and communicate across teams, so to should a human workflow be known and expressed openly across teams. It is here we’re we can more fully understand the effective methods by which we team.

Declarative designer casting is most fully realized when each member of the team has a clearly defined authorship of the process. This rooting to the individual level — expressed throught the collective is a model that builds autonomous conditions — propelled and upheld by each unique member of the team.

The advancement of our human workflow is by very nature an evolutionary system. Historically speaking, our organizing structures have stifled any real chance to progress our individuality together, while being supported by our collective teaming. Consider the integration points you can forge across your team. What would it look like to document your teams human workflow?
